Kick-off Meeting & White Elephant Sale
     Bring an item (or two) to sell at our "White Elephant Sale" fundraiser. Proceeds from the sale will go to support the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation and be used to support ongoing chapter operations. This will also be our first business meeting of the year, so we are asking that everyone who can to wear their pin.

Founder's Day Event: Alpha Chi Supports Victims of Domestic Violence
     Enjoy cocktails and appetizers while socializing with fellow alums and other guests. Our special guest speaker from the Center for Women and Families will talk about how the Center supports our local community and share personal stories of courage and hope. We encourage everyone to bring someone with them to this event - sister, friend, co-worker - as this is an event you won't want to miss.
     The cost will be $25 per person. This includes food and there will be a cash bar provided. All proceeds will go to the Center for Women and Families. Please RSVP to Celeste by Wednesday, October 10.

Meeting and Special Guest from Kentucky Refugee Ministries
     Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Inc. (KRM), a non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing resettlement services to refugees through faith- and agency-based co-sponsorship in order to promote self-sufficiency and successful integration into our community. KRM is committed to offering access to community resources and opportunities and to promoting awareness of diversity for the benefit of the whole community.
To help support the mission of KRM, we will be collecting items such as toiletries and household goods. You can bring your donations to the meeting and we will transport them to the KRM offices.
